I have been walking the shamanic path, the soul path, the priestess path for nine years. I have often found it hard to articulate the depth of my journey on pages such as this, yet I am now in a place where I know that this is here to offer but a facet, but a glimpse, into who I be, the path I have walked, and what I have to offer as space-holder. So let us dive in.

My path in the healing arts really began when I was 18 and first going to college. Becoming a nurse, doctor, or therapist was really the only pathway I was aware of where I could help people. I started my education out within the realm of Health Sciences, and completed two years of university that awarded me an associate's degree. My studies were interrupted when I had a life-changing event - I met a man who my soul was deeply connected to, who lived in the faraway lands of Australia.

Meeting this man altered the trajectory of my entire life. To make a deeply intricate story succinct, I decided to defer from the university in California that I was attending and apply to a university in Australia. I had chosen the route of nursing, and Life conspired to move me half-way across the world to begin a whole new part of my journey.

Living in Australia was a deep medicine journey. I experienced repetitive traumatic experiences that made living so far from home even more intense, while simultaneously beginning to have a deeper awakening of myself as Soul. I wound up experiencing enough trauma that it led me to have what some of us call a dark night of the soul. Everything in my life fell away, leaving just rubble in front of me. This event was the catalyst that set me off onto my shamanic soul path.

My Places of Passion, Study, & Devotion

​A central part of my path has been unveiling the oppression of patriarchy within our world and diving into deep study of pre-patriarchal societies. I began exploring the Ancient Goddess Religions in 2016, with my path being very much marked by this reclamation. I began diving into shadow work, exploring the unconscious, and being fascinated by the depths that lie beneath the surface of the things we do, think, and say. After this initial revelation, I began to connect the dots, my inner-wise woman painting a picture for me of the way we have been living as a collective. I was deeply inspired and awakened by books like Shakti Woman​  and  MotherPeace by Vicki Noble and The Women Who Run With the Wolves, by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. Through all my reading, researching, and inner-inquiry, I began to crystallize the understanding that there had been a distinct and exact fracture, or severing, from our true nature - the wild, the body, the soul - and this is what was creating such collective chaos. In my innerstanding of the realm we are in, I see this world as what has arisen from that fracture, that dis-connect from our Selves.

My healing and remembering has been centered around this fracture of the Feminine, and how it has lived through me. These last nine years I have traveled to my underworld (unconscious) again and again - excavating, unearthing, releasing, and retrieving. Making the descent again and again to retrieve the vital force of myself, of my wholeness. As Clarissa Pinkola Estes puts it, this path involves "extensive archaeological digs into the female psyche."  It is a unique experience to be born within a female form in this life. There are specific ways that women (and anyone of any gender expression within a biologically female body) have been fractured from ourself - our power, our rage, our sexuality - that are literally carried within the uterus - as this womb space literally connects to the collective womb.
