A Space to Gather in Sisterhood Around this Sacred Text...

What Is It?

Welcome, sister. The page you have found yourself on is inviting you into a study circle for The Women Who Run With The Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes.

Maybe you have read this book before, or maybe you have been called to it for years but have yet to immerse in it fully. Myself, like many women and people on this Earth, have been deeply moved and shaped by The Women Who Run With The Wolves. I have had a nudge building over many years to create a space – part book club, part study circle – to gather around this text with sisters.

This book is so rich with feminine wisdom, pointing us to the Wild that has felt so lost within us and our culture. I feel that this book is one of, if not the most important books for every woman to read in her life.

What I have found through my participation in other study groups centered around this book is that something very sacred and magical happens when women gather to read, digest, and reflect on this book together. There is communion, there is shared revelation, there is deep healing and ceremony that naturally emerge from gathering around the truths shared in this text.

I have read this book several times myself and studied it over a period of years. I have been struck by the power of myth and story in their ability to assist us, in Clarissa's words, in gathering the bones. This work, this recollecting of ourselves, of our wildness, of our vitality, is essential and necessary work for women.

Where Is This Taking Place?

This group will be taking place online, via zoom. I do intend to hold this space in person in the San Diego area, however my divine direction has been to first create this space online.

What Is The Investment?

This group is totally free - so there is no monetary investment required to join us. My divine direction has been very clear that this group should be freely accessible to all who wish to join.

What Do I Need?

All you need to join this group is a copy of the book itself and access to join our zoom meetings on either your phone or computer. There will also be a What's App group that will allow for ease of communication once our group begins. Make sure you have What's App downloaded and once you sign up, your welcome email will include the link to join.

My ask is that if you do feel called to join, that you really say yes to being here and going through this process together. I say this because in my experience when someone is offering something for free, people may show up to that space in a half-in, half-out kind of way. My prayer is that if you feel drawn to be here, that you see the power in your commitment. There is a force that moves in this universe when we really decide to say yes to something.

How Do I Sign Up?

If you want to be a part of this sacred journey, simply fill out your name and email address in the form at the bottom of this page.

Who Is This For?

Women and non-binary people are welcome in this space. I will be speaking to women, as this book is centered around the experience of women, though please know that if you feel called here, you are deeply welcomed, even if your gender expression does not align with this language.

When Do We Begin?

Our first call will be Tuesday, August 27th at 6 pm pacific 9 pm eastern. All scheduled calls (apart from one or two) will be on Tuesdays at this time. See reading & call schedule below.

If you can't make this time but you want to be a part of this group, I encourage you to still sign up at the bottom of this page.

I will possibly be creating a second date/time as there are some sisters in Europe who want to join this journey but won't be able to make the scheduled call time. Follow the prompt at the bottom of the page and the welcome email will guide you to join our what's app group, where you can communicate with me directly about an alternative time.

Logistical Information:

We will gather twice per month, allowing approximately two weeks for reading each chapter. I will have reflection questions based on the chapter that will be posed in each circle. The calls will be a mixture of contemplation upon these specific questions and themes, reading select passages and inviting interpretation, as well as time for group discussion and sharing.
